If you’re struggling to choose between a glass or solid roof, then Livinroof could be the ideal solution.

Livinroof combines the best of both with a mix of glazed areas wherever you want them and highly insulated grey panels. It’s a great choice for upgrading your old conservatory into a warm, bright new room.

Livinroof is also the ideal roofing option for a new extension with a difference. From the outside it looks just like a modern grey conservatory roof, while on the inside, Livinroof has a beautiful plastered ceiling, just like any other extension and the internal pelmet further adds to the room-like feel on the inside.

Roof Lantern

Slimline, neat and bright.

A Lantern is a fantastic option for bringing light into a flat roof extension or orangery.

Designed to draw plenty of daylight into your room with its 20° pitch, our lantern makes your new room bright and airy. The extremely strong ridge means there are fewer bars allowing the maximum amount of light to enter the room below and gives the lantern a neat modern look.

Not only do our Lanterns look stylish, they are also designed with many thermal features to help stop condensation. This feature is very important if the room below is to be used as a kitchen where changing heat levels can be a problem.

Flat Skylight

Above us only sky.

Bring light into your extension or orangery with the Flat Skylight.

The unique, simple design features edge-to-edge glass with no visible bars – meaning that when you look up, all you see is glass and the sky above.

The Flat Skylight lends itself to either modern or heritage projects as it is so simple in design and sits equally well in a modern flat roof extension or a more traditional orangery.

High Performance Glass

U-Value

The U-Value measures the amount of internal heat loss, and a lower number indicates better insulation.

Light Transmission

Glass can allow only a certain amount of natural light to pass through, reducing its impact and providing increased comfort.

Solar Rejection

The level of solar energy that the glass unit reflects. Our glass options reflect about three times more solar energy than standard glass.

UV Protection/Rejection

By reducing the impact of harmful UV rays, our glass can provide greater protection for furniture and fabrics.

Cleaning

A coating uses the power of the sun to actively break down organic materials, which are then washed away by rainwater, resulting in significantly reduced maintenance requirements.

Colour

Glass is available in a range of colour options to match your design preferences.

How to choose the correct glass

North or East Facing

Locations facing north or east tend to be cool and shaded, with minimal direct sunlight. Glass with high light transmission and low solar rejection is a great choice as it will allow more light and heat to enter the room.

South or West Facing

South or west facing locations receive ample sunlight throughout the day, resulting in bright natural light. However, excessive heat can cause the room to become uncomfortably warm so choosing the right glazing is crucial to avoid this.

Choose glass which has low light transmission and high solar rejection properties, we can provide glass with a U-Value of just 1.0, three times more energy-efficient than standard glass units.
